Classification of specialty coffees using machine learning techniques

Specialty coffees have a big importance in the economic scenario, and its sensory quality is appreciated by productive sector market. Researches been constantly carried out search for better blends order to add value differentiate prices according product quality. To accomplish that, new methodologies must be explored, taking into consideration factors that might particularities of each consumer and/or product. Thus, this article suggests use machine learning technique construction supervised classification identification models. In evaluation test acceptance using four classes specialty coffees, applied groups trained untrained consumers, features such as flavor, body, sweetness general grade were evaluated. The viable because it allows produced different altitudes processing methods.
